Matthew J. Bedford II, 57, Seneca, MO, passed away at the Seneca House Nursing Home after an illness.
Matthew Joseph Bedford II was born September 30,1967 in Joliet, IL the son of Matthew Joseph Bedford I and Ruth Ann (Presswood) Bedford. He formerly worked for Republic Sanitation where he had worked several positions including, trainer, driver, lead person and dispatcher. Matthew was a motorcycle enthusiast. He loved collecting and building motorcycles. He was a member of the Local chapter of the Loners Motorcycle club where he formerly served as past President, Vice President, Sargent of Arms and Road Captain. Matthew was a member of the Quapaw, OK Chapter then transferring to the Shiloh, AR and then became a charter member of the Liberty, KS Chapter. He will always be remembered as a very generous man.
Matthew was preceded in death by his father, his grand parents and great-grandparents, one uncle and one cousin.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth Ann Bedford, ILL; one sister, Andrea Bedford, CA and his son Matthew J. Bedford III, CO; one niece and one nephew.
The body has been taken for cremation under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
The family will conduct private services.
