Matthew worked as a painter for Catanzaro and Sons Painting for many years.
In addition to his mother Marilyn, he is survived by his brothers; William, Thomas, Patrick Boylan and Brian Schaier, sisters; Bridget, twin sister Meghan Boylan and Shannon Scott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom he adored.
His "Celebration of Life" service will be held at 200 Brook Rd. Harrisville, Wallum Lake Rod & Gun Club. Sunday August 31, 2025 from 2pm until 5pm. There will be a brief ceremony at 2pm and there will be food and music. There will also be a donation box in lieu of flowers.
