Matthew Joseph Dulaney

Matthew Joseph Dulaney, 62, of Independence, KY, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, with his loving partner Kari Louden Arrasmith by his side, along with his stepdaughter Cheyan and his lifelong friend Toby Darpel.

Matt is survived by the love of his life, Kari; his cherished stepchildren, Corbin (Meti Lemu) Arrasmith and Cheyan (Matt Arnold) Arrasmith; and his two treasured grandchildren, Afton Arnold and Aurora Gene Arnold. Being a grandfather brought Matt profound joy-he delighted in making memories with his grandkids and showered them with unconditional love and laughter.

Born on March 30, 1963, Matt was the son of the late Robert "Duke" Dulaney and Patricia Dulaney (née Gill). He was also preceded in death by his brother Mark Dulaney, and is survived by his brother Eric Dulaney.

Matt was known for his warm personality, deep love for the outdoors, and adventurous spirit. He was an avid traveler who found peace in nature, joy in photographing wildlife and birds, and relaxation in fishing and hiking. He also enjoyed watching sports and spending quality time with those he loved most.

He dedicated 31 years of his life to Delta Air Lines, where he was respected and valued by his colleagues.

Matt will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
