Matthew Clyde Enix, 40, of Rush went to be with his Lord, Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at his residence. Matt was born August 7, 1984 in Morehead, KY a son of Dale and Debra Lynn Buckler Enix of Vanceburg, KY. Matt was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eugene "Gene" and Glenna Faye Buckler; and paternal grandfather, Clyde Burton Matt was a 2002 graduate of Lewis County High School. After high school Matt attended Morehead State University and went on to work as an EMT for UK Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland for the last 13 years. Matt loved spending time with his precious family, who he was extremely proud of. Matt enjoyed going to the gym working out and building things with his hands. Matt was a true outdoorsman and like to go hiking and hunting. Matt is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Amber Nicole Everman Enix; two children, Parker Enix and Eliana Marie Enix; a brother, Jesse (Tasha) Enix of Argillite; a niece, Everly Enix; paternal grandmother, Verdis Jordan Enix of Vanceburg; four uncles, Ronnie, Tommy, Donnie and Doug Enix; his mother and father-in-law, Glendal and Tina Everman of Grayson; a brother-in-law, Derrek Everman of Shepherdsville; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn his passing. Funeral Services will be 1 pm Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Enix officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 11 am Saturday until the service hour.
