Matthew Stewart Gray, of Pine Hill, NJ, formerly of Stratford, NJ and Waterford, NJ, passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 35. He leaves behind his beloved mother, Diane Martinovitch; his son, Matthew Stewart Gray, Jr.; his brothers, Thomas Gray and Stephen Martinovitch; maternal grandparents, William H. and Diane J. Brown; his aunt, Susan Brown; cousins, Douglas Baldi and James Asselta; and best friend Jay Beadling. He was predeceased by his father, Stewart Gray.
Matthew attended Overbrook High School and later graduated from Y.A.L.E. School in Williamstown, NJ. Matthew worked as a window installer, a job that showcased his handiness.
A lifelong and dedicated Eagles fan, Matthew never missed watching a game, his spirit and enthusiasm as unwavering as his loyalty to the team. He found camaraderie and excitement in paintball, a hobby that allowed him to combine strategic thinking with the great outdoors he so dearly loved. Nature was Matthew's retreat and source of peace.
Known for his great sense of humor, Matthew was the family's jokester and prankster. His ability to light up a room with laughter will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His kind heart was as big as his smile, and there was nothing he wouldn't do for a friend in need.
Matthew was a loving father, son, brother and grandson. His life will be celebrated privately as per his family's wishes. Condolences may be shared at earlefuneralhome.com
