Matthew Michael Grover, born February 4, 1978, in Logan, Utah, passed away on July 24, 2024. Matthew was a cherished son to Brenda Jeanne Grover and Morgan Kim Grover, a devoted father to Jonathan Matthew Grover and Mattison Grover, and a beloved grandfather to Dax Richard Johnson, Finley Jae Grover, and Braiizee Ann Grover. He is survived by mother, children, grandchildren, and his siblings, Amber Lombardo, Jermey Grover, Heather Grover, and Jesse Grover, as well as his beloved cat.

Matthew was a remarkable man whose impact was felt deeply by all who knew him. As a young boy, he was a standout soccer player, known for his dedication and talent on the field. His adventurous spirit and athleticism were evident throughout his life. At the age of 15, Matthew began working in the mason industry, a field where his artistry and meticulous craftsmanship left a lasting legacy that countless people continue to enjoy.

An avid lover of the outdoors, Matthew found joy in various activities, from camping in the mountains to fishing at the river and relaxing on the beaches of Oregon. His passion for life and zest for adventure were evident.

Matthew had a profound love for animals, extending his gentle care and affection to every creature he encountered. His bond with his beloved cat was a reflection of his deep compassion and warmth he showed to all living beings. Music was another great love of his: which played a vital role in his daily life. He loved to lose himself in his favorite tunes, using music as a joyful escape and a way to express his vibrant personality. Whether he was blasting his favorite songs or discovering new ones, music was a constant companion.

Matthew’s warmth and kindness was felt by everyone around him. His laugh and bright smile could light up any room, and his generous spirit made everyone feel valued. Though he often wore a tough exterior, he was truly a gentle soul, always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and strangers alike. His sense of humor was unmatched, and he was known for his ability to make others feel special and loved.

Matthew’s strength, compassion, and loyalty will be deeply missed. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will remember him as a loving father, caring son, proud brother, and loyal friend. He had a heart of gold and was a true treasure to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor his memory.
