Matthew Herbst Obituary
Matthew went to East Stroudsburg-North High School. Class of 2008. He played football, baseball and wrestling for the Timberwolves. Matt loved his Pennsylvania teams for sports Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers. He listen to all kinds of music.
Matthew was known for his contagious laugh, willingness to help others, love of video games, and a proud family man. Matthew adored his two children Christian & Azrael Herbst. He was very proud of the family he created with partner Erika White, whom he was madly in love with. Matt also, loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Matthew is survived by his partner Erika, son Christian, daughter Azrael, Brother Bo Herbst, sister in law Lisa, Brother Kevin Gallagher, Sister Jessica Smale, Grandparents William & JoAnn Herbst Sr., mother Regina Smale, many Aunts & Uncles, cousins Laura, Savannah, Sarah, Amanda, nieces Rileigh, Isabella, Aubri, Ariella, and Layla, Nephews Aiden and Wyatt.
Matthew is processed in death by his Grandparents Robert and Beverly Smale, his father William Herbst Jr, niece Alina Herbst.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023 from 4pm-8pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with cremation to follow.
