Matthew Bolen Kreinbihl, age 37, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on October 17, 2024, in New Jersey.
Born on February 12, 1987, in Pittsburgh, Matt grew up in a close-knit family alongside his sister in Mt. Lebanon, where he made lifelong friendships.
Matt leaves behind his wife, Laura (Stafman) Kreinbihl, and his dear children, Emma and Bradley, whom he adored. He is also survived by his parents, John and Jayne Kreinbihl, his sister, Sarah (Socrates) Zacharias, his nephew, niece, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and countless friends.
Matt graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Supply Chain Management, and soon after, he pursued his career in New York City. His dedication and expertise led him to build a successful career in Supply Operations. Matt was known in the professional world as a dynamic and collaborative leader, always ready to take on multiple roles and go above and beyond to ensure the success of any project.
Outside of his professional life, Matt was a devoted husband and a loving father to his children. He cherished spending time with them, whether on family outings or during quiet evenings at home. Vacations to Hilton Head, Dewey Beach, and Miami were among his most treasured memories.
Matt had a wide range of interests and hobbies. He particularly enjoyed cooking, playing golf, and watching his favorite sports teams. His kindness, empathy, and willingness to lend a hand left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.
Matt's smile, sense of humor, and legacy of love, kindness, and warmth will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A celebration of Matt's life will be held at The City of Champions Lounge at PNC Park in Pittsburgh from 10 AM-Noon on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
