Matthew James Lott, 38, of Oxford NY passed away unexpectedly August 10th, 2024. Matthew was born June25th, 1986 to Patricia Cowan (Deitrickson) and James Lott. He attended school in Oxford, until 2002, when he moved to Pennsylvania. While there he made lifelong connections with friends Jeffrey Giza, Jeremy Garthwaite, Kasey McDonough, and Jesse Macialek. Matthew held a passion for drawing and writing, and even had a couple writing pieces published in the early 2000’s. He was also a big fan of The Grateful Dead. The true light of his life was his two daughters. He will be truly missed by those whose lives he touched with his kindness and love.
Matthew is survived by his daughters, Ava, and Emily. He is also survived by siblings Maria (Jamie) Wakefield (Taylor Wakefield) of Oxford, and Anthony Santanna of PA. As well as his nephews Ethan Santanna, and Liam Rooney, and extended siblings, aunts, and uncles.
Matthew is predeceased by his father, James Lott, mother, Patricia Cowan (Deitrickson), and sibling Jennifer Santanna.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Behe Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held on September 7th, at 3PM at 129 Turner St Oxford NY, 13830.
