Winifred M Vigus, 100, of Oxford NY passed away Thursday August 14th, 2025, at Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Winifred was born in Sherburne, NY, on August 26th, 1924, to Dora and Rex Williams.
She survived by her children; Cynthia Jones, Ivy Davis (Carl Cummings), Dianna and Dwight Meade, Charles and Patricia Vigus, Eugene and Vickie Vigus, Martha West and Walter West, and Chester and Beverly Vigus. She is also survived by her sister; Esther Cook and sister in-law Rachael Vigus. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Winifred is predeceased by her loving husband, Charles Vigus Jr. Several siblings and one great grandchild and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Behe Funeral Home Inc, 21 Main Street, Oxford, NY, 13830. A graveside service will take place on August 23, 2025, at 10:00AM in Warn-Ten Broeck Cemetery, Oxford, NY. A luncheon will be held at St. Paul’s Parish Hall in Oxford, NY immediately after.
