Matthew Karl Montgomery, 52 of Little Rock, passed from this life on Thursday, March 2, 2023. He was born October 6, 1970 in Little Rock to the late Monte Montgomery and Sandra Truett Montgomery. Growing up, he loved camping, fishing, water sports, riding horses and motorcycles. He attended the Little Rock School System and finished two years of college. Matthew was preceded in death by his father, Monte Evan Montgomery; his paternal grandparents, T.A. and Juanita Montgomery; his maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Dona Truett.
Matthew is survived by his mother, Sandy (Bill) Norris of Little Rock; five children, Drue Norris, Monte Montgomery, Chyna Montgomery, Brayden Montgomery, Mattie Montgomery; two step-children, Forrest Montgomery, and Chanci Montgomery; two siblings, Leslie Mikles of Fort Smith, and Clint Montgomery of Shirley; and one grandchild, Ryder Morgan.
Memorial gathering will be 2-4 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.

My heart aches for the entire family at this time. I know how it hurts to lose someone so young and so dear to your heart. Prayers and friendship for the family , especially for Sandy and Bill. Clint and Leslie.
