I was heartbroken to hear of Matt's passing. I would always run onto him when I was visiting my mom. I knew he was struggling with Parkinsons but I didn't realize how bad it was. Now they are both gone. Juliet and Rich, I am so sorry for your loss and I hope you find peace in your memories of him.

Rest in peace, Matt. I just found about your passing today. For the few years that we were hanging out and working on the Allies website together (among other things), I learned of your immense musical talent. You were the most precise, organized, consistent musician that I have ever known. We did some music videos together and I remember how incredibly happy you were, doing what you were actually put on this earth to do -- write and perform music. You now are discovering what Neverland is really like .... RIP

I was devastated about the passing of Matt he was truly my favorite person to talk to about guitars. I was in need of a good set up for my guitar in 2017 and my dad said let me introduce you to Matt. Matt set up my guitar and turned it into the best feeling instrument I had. From that point on Matt and I would talk about our favorite guitars and what we were playing at the moment. We bonded over our love of Les Pauls, and as I finally had saved up money for one, I would always take it to Matt, and he would always make it play perfectly. For my 25th birthday in 2020 I asked Matt if he had any Les Paul´s he would sell me. He sent me a picture of a red les Paul and said "here´s one I think would be perfect for you" man was he right. I´ll cherish that instrument for the rest of my life and always think of Matt when I play it.
To his family: I´m so sorry for your loss. I know I will miss Matt deeply and think about him every time I see a Les Paul or feel like flipping through some of the pictures of his guitars he would text me. I wouldn´t be the guitar player I am today without him.
Love,
Jesse Clark
