Matthew John Taing

Matthew John Taing, 22, of Brenham passed away January 31, 2025.
Matthew was born on January 16, 2003 in Brenham, Texas to Ou and Kimsan (Rou) Taing. After graduating from Brenham High School in 2021, he attended the University of Texas and studied Chemical Engineering. He worked as the Store Manager for Shipley's Donuts in Brenham.
Matthew was deeply loved and appreciated by those around him. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others shined through in many ways. He was always exploring new hobbies and finding joy in things like crocheting, pottery, cooking, and baking. He brought a lot of positivity and warmth to the lives of his family, friends, and community. He had a love for college football, particularly the UT Longhorns. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and being chauffer when asked to go out. He had a love for Dippin' Dots and snow cones and could always be found enjoying a cold treat. His best pal was his Piebald Dapple long hair miniature dachshund named Willie Taing who he loved and spoiled.
Left to cherish his memories are parents; siblings Mason, Michelle, Mark and Melanie Taing; girlfriend Tina Nguyen; and his best pal Willie Taing.
A visitation will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 2:00PM until 3:00PM. A special service with Monks present will be held at 3:00PM with a Funeral Service following at 4:00PM with Pastor Tim Webb officiating.
