Matthew Willinghurst Obituary

Born in Louisville to the late Jesse and Mary Rose Willinghurst, he was a graduate of Trinity High School and was retired from the Ford Motor Company. Matt also enjoyed shooting pool, playing guitar, and swimming.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Coppler.
Matt is survived by his brother, Mark Willinghurst; his sister, Jan Moore (Chris); his brother-in-law, Alex Coppler; his nephews, Christopher Moore and Adam Coppler; and his niece, Jessica Moore.
Visitation for Matt will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a service to follow at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
