It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maud "Elaine" Chambers (née Cranfill) of Milford, Ohio, formerly of Marathon, Ohio, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 76 in Milford, Ohio.
Elaine was born on October 19, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to her beloved parents, the late Earl Cranfill and Judy (née Harris) Cranfill. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Elmer H. Chambers; her sister, Lida Dixon; her brother, Douglas Moses; her son-in-law, Jerry Bryant; and her daughter-in-law, Amber (Carnahan) Chambers.
Elaine is survived by her loving children: Shawn Fisher (Sharon Gillman), Shannon Bryant, Shamuel (Amy) Chambers, Shane (Christina) Chambers, and Shad (Mindy) Chambers. She was a cherished Nana to Jessica (Jeff Baer) Fisher, Christian (Chelbey) Chambers, Cory (Alah Carroll) Bryant, Marissa (Peter) Rideout, Tiffany (Adam) Craver, Seth (Sarah) Chambers, Kayley (Taylor) Chambers, Kiera (Joe Bunn) Chambers, Kimberly Bryant, and Destiny Chambers.
Elaine was also a proud Great-Nana to Riley Baer, Ashton Chambers, Jaxon Chambers, Amicia Chambers, Ivan Earl Shaffer, Noah Rideout, Lucas Rideout, Isabella Craver, Luca Craver, Sonny Chambers, Sophia Chambers, and Gracie Legner, as well as several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She loved her family deeply and treasured every moment spent with them.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen, Ohio, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 7, 2025, followed by her burial at Greenberry Cemetery on Glancy Corner Marathon Road in Williamsburg, Ohio.
Elaine will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
