Maureen Ann Bidwell, 77, peacefully passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Harry Phillip Bidwell. Survived by children, Michelle (Emilio) Ruiz, Kevin Bidwell and Brian Bidwell; grandchildren Patricia (Joshua) Silcox, Kalynn (Joshua) Thompson, Nicholas (Rebecca) Ruiz, Nolan Ruiz, Samantha Ruiz, Emily Perry, Melissa Perry and Lucas Perry; numerous great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by parents William J. Baily and Henrietta (Rockich) Baily, sisters Dorren Baily and Janet O'Neill.

Maureen was born December 15,1947 in Chicago, IL and graduated for Sesser High School and later went on to St. Joseph School of Nursing. Most of her career was spent helping others as a registered nurse.

She enjoyed riding horses, spending time with her dogs, murder mystery movies, reading and writing. She also enjoyed working in her yard.

An intimate funeral service will be held September 27,2025 at 11:00am at Hughey Funeral Home 1314 Main Street, Mount Vernon Illinois.

Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Mount Vernon Illinois.
