Maureen Ann Dohr, 78, of Salisbury, Maryland, passed away peacefully at her home on March 5, 2024. Born on December 11, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Bernice Flanagan. Maureen worked for 30 years as a Proof and Code Supervisor for Union National Bank in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania before retiring to Maryland. Maureen was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Salisbury where she loved volunteering in the children's ministry. She loved taking walks, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Maureen also loved working in her flower garden, feeding her birds, and cuddling with her two chihuahuas, Cocoa and Bev.
Maureen is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Edward Dohr; three children: Adam Dohr and his wife Tammy of Lebanon, Ohio, Jeanie Cheung and her husband Phillip of Berlin, Maryland Teresa Bush and her husband David of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren: Natalie Tunney and her husband Boone, Reagan Cheung, Jackson Cheung, and Madelyn Bush; two great-granddaughters: Bristol and Brighton Tunney; brother-in-law Paul Ohm and his wife Sharon; and many nieces and nephews.
Maureen was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Bernice Flanagan, and sister, Mary Clare Zaverella.
At the request of the family, there will be a private service only. In lieu of flowers, donations in Maureen's memory can be made to Wicomico County Humane Society, 5130 Citation Drive, Salisbury, MD 21804. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.

God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I remember when Ed and Maureen first met. It was a perfect match from the beginning and wonderful to last 55 years. Cherish your memories of Maureen. May she rest in peace. You and your family will be remembered in our prayers.
