Maureen Foley

Beverly, MA – Maureen Ellen (Drislane) Foley, 81, of Beverly passed away peacefully on September 26. Maureen was the daughter of the late David and Ruth (Cashman) Drislane. Maureen grew up in Beverly and graduated high school from St. Mary's. After high school Maureen obtained a hairdresser's license from Essex Agricultural Technical School and worked as a beautician for many years. Maureen then graduated from Mass Bay Community College with a nursing degree. She worked as a nurse at several healthcare facilities on the North Shore until retirement. Maureen enjoyed gardening, watching the Red Sox and Patriots, and reading at her favorite beach, Good Harbor in Gloucester.
Maureen is survived by her son Daniel and his wife Kimberly of Beverly, her son Thomas Foley of Beverly, two granddaughters Ashley and Meagan of Beverly and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sisters Kathleen Andrews and Ann Heffernan.
A graveside service will be held for Maureen on Wednesday October 11, 2023, at 11AM at St. Mary's Cemetery, Brimbal Ave. in Beverly. Family and friends are invited to attend.
