Maureen A. Roberts

Maureen A. Roberts, 75, of Boalsburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Salem Hill/Wynwood House in Spring Mills.

Born January 23, 1950, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Evelyn (Eisenhauer) Myers. On June 8, 1975, Maureen married the love of her life, Dennis L. Roberts, in Snow Shoe. They shared 45 wonderful years together before Dennis's passing on December 7, 2020.

Maureen was a 1968 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School. She began her career at Milheim Manufacturing Co. (The Bra Factory), later joining the Clerical Department at Penn State University, where she worked for many years before retiring. After moving to Snow Shoe, she continued to serve her community as the secretary for the Snow Shoe Borough Water and Sewage Department until her final retirement.

A woman of quiet faith, Maureen was a member of the Snow Shoe United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafting-particularly diamond dot art-and was an avid reader with a deep love for mystery novels and classic Agatha Christie shows. Her greatest joy came from time spent with family, whom she loved deeply and cherished always.

Maureen is survived by her daughter, Colleen A. Flipse of Boalsburg; her beloved grandchildren: Jon-Paul Richner, Frank Flipse, Amber Nestlerode, and Ethan Urbanik; and one great-grandson, Dennis Nestlerode. She is also survived by her brothers: Marty Myers and his wife, Beth, of Coburn, and Timothy Myers of Milheim.

In addition to her parents and husband, Maureen was preceded in death by her daughter, Nicole M. Roberts, and her brother, Dennis Myers.

Honoring Maureen's wishes, a small graveside gathering will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Askey Cemetery in Snow Shoe, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Dennis.
