Maureen Patricia Rohde

Maureen Patricia Rohde, 90, of Boulder, Colorado passed away on October 14, 2024 in Boulder. Maureen was born on March 17, 1934 in New York City to John and Kathrine McDermott. After graduating from college Maureen choose to be an educator and homemaker. She was the World's Best Mom. Having passed at the age of 90, our mother had a terrific run. Although her loss is bittersweet to all who knew her, we will cherish memories of her kindness and humor for the balance of our days. Richard and Maureen were married on March 17, 1979 in Tucson, Arizona. Maureen is survived by, Gerry Welzig (husband Frank), Mike Rohde, Jeff Rohde (wife Donna), Marty Rohde, John Rohde (wife Debbie), Kristeen Burkhardt (husband Don), Dan Burkhardt, Tom Burkhardt (wife Josie), Mike Burkhardt, Dennis Burkhardt (wife Wendi). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard S. Rohde; parents John and Kathrine McDermott and brother Jack McDermott. There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, March 15, 2025 in Boulder.
