Maxine Hebeler, 90, of Liberty, Missouri passed away at home on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. She was born August 8, 1933, the daughter of the late Forest and Helen (Woodman) Johnson.
Maxine and her husband Ivan, who died in 2009, loved horses. Over the years they had many horses and enjoyed riding and spending time together. She also enjoyed bowling and loved country music. Especially Tex Ridder and Willy Nelson. She had a 40-year career with General Motors where she worked as a Data Security Analyst.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Ivan Hebeler, son Thomas Hebeler and nephew Gary Rook.
She is survived by her sister Mary Beth Rook, Nephews Jehramy Heim, and Bob Sones; nieces Theresa Pedeockie, dawn (Todd) Holmes and Donna (Jack) Teagarden. She is also survived by her Nebo Hill Community Family, who will deeply miss her.
Visitation will be Friday, December 1, 2023, from 1-2 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home. At 2 PM there will be live country music and sharing of stories. Interment will follow in Terrace Park Cemetery.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
