Maxine was a graduate of Bessemer City High School, attended CWC and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in teaching from Appalachian State University. She was a faithful member for over 70 years at First Wesleyan Church in Bessemer City. Maxine loved her family and enjoyed helping others, especially cooking for them. She was also a big fan of Duke basketball and the Atlanta Braves. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to all. Maxine will truly be missed but will forever be in our hearts.
