Maxine Ruff (nee Griggs), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Lynn; cherished daughter of the late Kenneth W. and Laura Griggs; devoted mother of Carolyn Schroeder, Janet Taylor, Diane (Richard) Jinkerson, and Tracy (Kevin) Modde; loving grandmother of Laura, Le'Anne (Stephen), Robert (TingTing), Rachel, Ryan (Whitney), Kyle (Katie), Eric (Jordan), and the late Kenneth; treasured great grandmother of Lena, Amber (Preston), Allison (James), Alex (Meagan), Taylor (Ti), George, Lucas, Eli, and great-great grandmother of 8; dear sister of the late Iretta Songer.

Maxine was a proud member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary who cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid crocheter, dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Maxine's name to Horton Wreath Society or Wreaths Across America.
