Maxwell Lambert Obituary
Maxwell Lambert, born May 6, 1956, age 67, known to all as the epitome of a devoted family man, graduated to heaven on March 2, 2024. He was the beloved son of Lewis and Violet Lambert, loving husband of Jill Lambert for 45 years, and the adored father of Jennifer (Andy) and Adam (Kelly). Maxwell found immense joy in his role as a grandfather to Carter, Weston, and Everly. He was a loving brother to Jan (Bill), Morley, who preceded him in death (Debbie), Bruce (Becky), Dot (Bill), Peggy (Dave), Angie (Bill), Levi (Laura), Lewis, uncle, cousin, and a cherished friend and best buddy to countless individuals.
Born in Southport, Newfoundland, Maxwell dedicated 35 years of his life as a welder at American Tank and Fabricating. Beyond his professional life, Maxwell pursued his passions wholeheartedly which among many things included fishing, spending time with family and hanging with friends on the Pike. His vibrant spirit shone brightest when he hosted epic parties and took center stage at family gatherings, leaving an everlasting mark on every occasion. He brought dry-wit humor and one liners that we will never forget.
Max was the oldest of his 8 siblings and he took that responsibility to heart, and was the center of a strong family bond. He was always there to help family and friends, anytime and anywhere. He was proud of his family and the culture that was instilled in him by his upbringing and experiences.
He cherished his wife, was extremely proud of his children, and lit up when talking about his grandkids. He loved hosting gatherings with Jill, but always knew when he was ready to shut the party down.
He enjoyed golfing and backyard BBQs with his son, reminiscing about old times and cooking together. He loved fishing with his grandkids and showing them every little trick to catch that big one! He treasured moments spent at the beach in California with his daughter, where they would watch their favorite movies, committing scenes to memory.
In the face of adversity, Max exhibited unparalleled courage and resilience. Affectionately known as Stainless Max, he battled stage III pancreatic cancer never wavering in his determination. His strength and high spirits during the toughest of times were a testament to his character.
Max's unwavering faith in God, the power of love and perseverance remained unshakeable until the very end. Even as he transitioned from this life, he continued to fight for his loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, love, and devotion.
Max's spirit will always be with us - at every family gathering, at every BBQ, at every fishing pond, on every beach we visit, at every kids sporting event, at every single place the sun touches the Earth. We will feel his warmth, cherish his memory, and let his spirit guide us forward. In lieu of flowers, the family requests kind hearted donations towards Max's medical bills. https://venmo.com/u/Jennifer-Zeller-17
