Megan LeeAnn Loope 1986 - 2025
Megan LeeAnn Loope, known affectionately as Meg to her friends and family, passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 38. Born on April 26, 1986, in Knoxville, Meg's life was a tapestry woven with love, kindness, and an endlessly interesting thread that drew people to her. She graduated from Claiborne County High School in 2005.
Meg's warmth and generosity knew no bounds. She had an innate ability to make everyone around her feel valued and loved. Her kindness was not just a trait but a daily practice, as she went out of her way to help others and spread joy wherever she went.
An interesting soul, Meg had a passion for life's curiosities. She was a lifelong learner, always eager to explore new ideas and experiences. Her adventurous spirit was contagious, inspiring those around her to embrace life with enthusiasm and an open heart.
Meg's legacy is one of love and compassion, a reminder to all who knew her that the simplest acts of kindness can have the most profound impact. Her memory will continue to be a beacon of light for her loved ones, guiding them with the same love and kindness she so freely gave. Meg's presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Meg was a member of the Sunrise Baptist Church.
Meg was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cotton and Edna Loope and Peggy McNew. She is survived by her father Teddy Loope and mother Glenda Loope, brother Josh Loope and wife Sandra, sister Mylee Loope, grandfather Jack McNew, nieces Gracie, Glory, and Isabelle Loope and a host of many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 6pm until 7pm with memorial services to follow at 7pm Upper Room Ministries with pastor Ual Russell officiating.
