It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Meghan C. Swift, 39 of Northbrook, IL on January 4, 2025, after a long hard battle with Breast Cancer.
Born on June 2, 1985, she leaves behind her parents, Jan Zimmerman and Steven Swift.
Her partner, Cory Korshak and two precious children Rilyn (5) and Caiden (2 ½)
A loving brother and sister; Jonathan Swift (Ashley) her niece Lily); Courtney Piet (Brett) and her nephew Hudson)
Her Step-Father, Bob Zimmerman, one who she never seized to amaze him with her resilience to overcome all of life's challenges.
A beloved Grandmother, Patricia Swift; along with a Host of Aunt's, Uncle's, Cousin's and Friends, all who thought the world of Meghan and loved her so much.
Her journey on this earth was marked with Love.
Meghan worked at school District 31 in Northbrook for many years, and loved her work. We are so grateful to the district for all their support throughout her Illness.
To all her Family and Friends, Thank You for all your kindness and generosity and for always being there for her. She knew how much she was loved.
Meghan was a devoted Mother to Rilyn and Caiden; they are the love of her life. Her will to fight was solely for her children.
She is our shining light and will be missed beyond words, always and forever.
In lieu of flowers, please consider planting a small tree, as a reminder of her incredible strength and her everlasting love she had for all of you.

Playing trivia at the wine bar in Long Grove with Meghan, Cory and others.
Was always a great time, even when losing. I remember that Meghan was always smiling.

Meghan was an absolutely wonderful person and having her in my life made my life so much better in so many ways. Her beautiful children and her man Cory were her world. I know for a fact that she is in the arms of Jesus and His Father in heaven. Meghan, I´ll never forget you and I thank God for you and for your life. I can´t believe you´re not here but I know you aren´t in pain anymore and you don´t need to go through any more chemo or surgeries or anything like that. You were too good for this world, and all the people who really knew you have always known that. I love you forever.
