Melanie Danielle Majors

Melanie Danielle Majors, aged 31, passed away on March 12, 2025, in Gainesville, GA. Born on July 20, 1993, Melanie was a beacon of kindness and joy, enriching the lives of those around her with her compassionate spirit and creative flair.

Melanie was a 2012 graduate of Chestatee High School and devoted much of her time to volunteering at the Royston local library and Sneed Card shop in Commerce, GA. Known for her organizational skills, she was often the go-to person for planning events such as birthday parties, gender reveals, and weddings, always ensuring every detail was perfect.

Her hobbies included photography, reading and writing, and volunteering, particularly focusing on the care and nurture of children, whom she dearly loved. Melanie's ability to capture beautiful moments through her lens, craft compelling stories, and selflessly serve her community were just a few of the qualities that made her so special.

Melanie is survived by her brother, Wesley Majors Jr.; half-sister, Crystal Diaz; biological father, Tim Burnett; niece and nephews, Brooklyn and Weston Majors, and Toby Diaz; along with honorary nieces and nephews, Christopher Le Ford Jr, Aaron James Broome, Wade Raizel Broome, K'lynn and Kiana Santiago. She also leaves behind aunts and uncles who will miss her dearly. Melanie was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Tracie Majors; father, Wesley Majors Sr; sister, Katie Burnett; and both sets of grandparents.

A memorial service will be held on April 5th from 4pm to 6pm at Zion Hill Baptist Church, located at 4100 Falcon Parkway, Flowery Branch, GA 30542. In honor of Melanie's lifelong dedication to learning and education, in lieu of flowers, donations made in her name to any book charity or educational cause would be greatly appreciated, continuing her legacy of nurturing and education.
