Melanie J. Powers, 72, of Sharpsville, passed away Monday morning, February 16, 2026, in her home.
Ms. Rodgers was born July 6, 1953, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Albert and Olivia Ehrhart, she was one of 10 children growing up. She was a 1971 graduate of Farrell High School.
A homemaker, she also enjoyed rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers and watching NASCAR.
Melanie is survived by two daughters, Caitlin Powers, of Sharpsville, and Jennifer Frantz, of Ambridge; two sons, Gerald (Jill) Powers, II, of Park Ridge, NJ, and Ryan Thomas, Hermitage; and seven grandchildren, Kyle Stonebraker, Hailey Moran, Karson McKnight, Reagan Riffle, Mackenzie Powers, Cameron Powers, and Riley Thomas.
In keeping with Melanie's wishes there will be no calling hours or a service.
