Melinda Harmon Obituary

Melinda E. Harmon (Caterina), beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family to join her husband, David C. Harmon on November 6th.
She was born and raised in Vineland, NJ. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Temple University in food and nutrition in 1961. She was in the Vineland High School Marching Band as a flute player and she was a Girl Scout Leader and a Den Mother for her children.
Later in life, she worked for HR Block and Arrow Tax Services. Her passions were her family, her cats, the Phillies and the Eagles.
She is predeceased by her parents, Nicolas Caterina, Elaine Caterina and her sister, Deanna Celico.
She is survived by her sister, Arlene (Dan) Cherwien and her three children, Bruce Harmon and his wife Tina (Olivero), Kathy Burris and her husband Robert, Laurie Price and her husband Robert; her grandchildren, Kasey Harmon and Korrie Harmon and nieces and nephews.
Please make donations in her name to South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter, 1244 N. Delsea Dr., Vineland, NJ. Funeral services and burial will be private. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Memories, thoughts and prayers may be extended to the family by visiting dlfuneral.com.
