Melissa Heather (Morgan) Diver, age 58, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at IU University Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born in Anderson, Indiana on October 1, 1965 to Ronald E. and Carolyn (Kearns) Morgan. She graduated from Charles A. Beard High School in Knightstown, Indiana in 1984.
She worked as an interior designer and hairdresser for many years. Melissa was a woman of many talents and also was employed as a realtor with Century 21 and a broker for Keller Williams. She was a dedicated member of Knightstown United Methodist Church and a proud member of the Realtor Association of Indiana. Melissa had many hobbies and interests and was always on the go. She enjoyed remodeling houses and painting, driving muscle cars, traveling to new places, and playing basketball, softball, and golf. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandkids.
She is survived by her mother, Carolyn (Kearns) Morgan of Knightstown, Indiana; daughters, Jessica (Chris) Rossetti of Greenfield, Indiana and Corrine (Jared Bruzzese) Peapples of Anderson, Indiana; brother, Ronald E. Morgan Jr. of Knightstown, Indiana; grandchildren, Addison, Sydney, Roman, Layton Rossetti, and Hartley Bruzzese; nephews, Chance and Lance Morgan; her kidney donor, Ted Lyons; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald E. Morgan Sr.; aunt, Vivian Charlene Simpson; and sister-in-law, Stephanie Morgan.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 4 until 7 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140.
