BRADFORD – Melissa R. Pienta, 40, fiancé of Justin Gadd, of Bradford passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 31 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Boston.
Melissa was born in Haverhill, the daughter of Walter and Joanne (Sargent) Pienta, Jr. She was a graduate of Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, Class of 2003 where she studied Health Careers and most recently worked as a CNA at Penacook Place in Haverhill. Melissa excelled at softball in high school, she loved all Boston sports teams; she became the biggest cheerleader for her kids and followed all their sports too. She enjoyed hanging around the pool and Old Orchard Beach. Melissa was a great cook and loved being with family and will be remembered as a devoted fiancée, mother, daughter, sister, sister in law and very proud aunt.
Melissa is survived by her fiancé of 15 years Justin Gadd, son Dakota J.J. Gadd, and daughter Chanel O. Gadd all of Haverhill, her mother Joanne (Sargent) Pienta, Jr. and brother Christopher J. and Richard Picardi of Haverhill, sister Ann Marie and Christopher Georges of Inveness, FL; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, April 4 from 4PM until 6:30 PM followed by a funeral home chapel service at 6:30PM at the Kevin B.
