Gretna - Survived by: his wife Tory Wittmaack, Daughter Alysia Gawrick, eight loving grandchildren. His Brother Robert Wittmaack, Sister Krista Wittmaack and their families.
Memorial Services to be held on August 30, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Roeder Mortuary in Gretna, NE. Celebration of Life immediately following; details will be posted at RoederMortuary.com
In lieu of flowers, Mel asked that you plant a memorial tree through the Arbor Day Foundation or donate to the Wittmaack Charitable Foundation. Mel established this foundation in 1998 & over the years it has provided scholarships & financial assistance for many of the youth education programs he was passionate about.
