Merlin Hilton Obituary

December 23, 1927, in Camden, Michigan. Merlin was known for his kind and fun-loving nature,
being a friend to all.
Merlin's career was dedicated to running his own painting business, Hilton Painting, and working
at Hillsdale Tool Manufacturing. He found joy and fulfillment in his work, leaving a lasting impact
on those around him.
Merlin was a cherished member of the Montgomery New Beginnings Church community, where
he found comfort and strength in his faith.
He is survived by his loving family: Charles Hilton, Mary Wilson, Richard Wilson, Jeff Wilson,
Kim Hurley Wilson, Ammie Wilson Rodden, Julie Wilson, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2
great-great-grandchildren and his close companion Margaret Riggleman. Merlin was preceded
in death by his wives, Betty Zeiter Hilton and Donna Bates Hilton, his mother Mary Brown Hilton,
his father James Hilton, and his sister, Donelda Cox.

I remember him as I was a young girl . We lived across the street. He showed me a hundred dollar bill. And that has stayed with. I thought he was the richest man I knew. Funny how certain things stay with you.
