George is survived by his wife, Sally Meade, his daughters, Tammy Shafer and Tracy (Allen) Wipp; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. George is also survived by 4 brothers: Charles, Raymond, Richard, and Dale Meade.
George is preceded in passing by his parents, by 1 son, David Meade, 1 daughter, Connie Marvin, and 1 step-son, Mark Russell, 2 brothers, Ken and Francis Meade, and by 2 sisters, Ruby Southwell and Barbara Hodge.
George was a farmer by trade & he enjoyed farming.
George also enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and doing anything outdoors.
At George's request, cremation has taken place & there are no services scheduled at this time.
A burial of the cremated remains will take place at the Allen Cemetery in Allen, Michigan at a later date.
