Michael Allen Obituary
Michael Allen of Onamia passed away Monday, August 15, 2025 after a 2-year long battle with cancer at the age of 64.
Michael John Allen was born December 31, 1960 to Chester and Mary (Boudreaux) Allen in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Michael was a second-generation roofer. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, helping others in need, working on cars, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his brothers Richard (Becky) Allen of Baudette, Steven Allen of Mesa, Arizona; sons Steven (Bryanna) Marxen of Garrison, Joseph Brandon of Crookston; daughters Cheyenne (Shane) Carlson of Onamia, Michelle (Charlie) Martin of Pine City; girlfriend Amy Lutz of Onamia; the girls’ mother Shannon Martin of Pine City; grandchildren Jordan Jacene, Alexis Marxen, Gianna Westerlund, Jonathon Reynolds, Hazel Marxen; many other relatives and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Mary Allen; grandparents Joseph and Margaret Boudreaux; siblings David Allen, Leon Allen, Elizabeth Allen, Michele Hart (nee Allen),
A celebration of Michael's life will be held 5-9:00; Saturday, September 27th at the Vet's Club in Onamia, Minnesota.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Funeral and Cremation Service of Pine City.
