Michael "Mike" Amilcare

Michael "Mike" Joseph Amilcare, age 59, currently residing in Woodstown, NJ passed away on June 12, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Louis Vincent Amilcare and Joanne Amilcare. Mike grew up in Philadelphia and Gloucester Township, NJ and was a 1983 graduate of Highland Regional High School in Blackwood, NJ. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Mike lived in Gloucester Township until he moved in with his brother in Woodstown about a year ago.
Over the years, Mike worked a variety of jobs including cleaning asbestos from the Navy Yard, being a phone technician for Sprint Mobile, working in pest control and working in the warehouse at Michael's, all while doing real estate on the side. He loved his rock and roll and was an extremely talented self-taught guitar player.
Mike is survived by his mother, Joanne Amilcare; his daughter Alexandria "Alex" Amilcare; his siblings Valerie Scavetta (Adam Castagna), Christopher "Chris" Amilcare (Lori) and Maureen Zane (Tom); nephews and nieces Vincent (Maddie), Joseph (Sarah), Victoria (John), Callie (Ant), Beth (Mike) and Emma; great nephew Mikey and great niece Vivi; Alex's mother Lisa Dawn Piatt; as well as other extended family. He was predeceased by his father Louis Vincent Amilcare.
Services will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad Street, Woodstown, NJ 08098. There will be a visitation starting at 11 AM leading to the funeral service at 12:30 PM. Burial will be private.
