Michael Thomas Barsanti

Michael Thomas Barsanti passed away on January 10, 2025. He was 70 years old.
Despite his intellectual handicap, Michael had such a honest child-like innocence and became the heart and light of our family. He was a pure joy when he wasn't being a punk! He was a gentle and joyful soul whose repeated proclamation was "happy days" which reminded us to be thankful for each day that our Lord has given. We will miss him so, and will live and remember what he taught us.
Michael was the beloved son of the late Norman and the late Marie; Adored brother of Ritaclare (late Richard) Elwart, late Norman (Vivian) Barsanti, Jarlath (late Neil) Jacobs, Carl Barsanti, late Gregg (Pat) Barsanti and late Bruce (Trish) Barsanti; Cherished uncle of Brigitte (Mike) Ellis, Gina (John) Miguel, Angel (Michael) Rodio, Nicholas (Patti) Barsanti and Tiffany (late Jim) Lynam. Friend to all who knew him.
A visitation will be held at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine, on Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 12-4:30pm. Words of remembrance will begin at 3:30pm and the funeral service will begin at 4:00pm. Interment private.
