Michael Lee Bierig, age 69 of Ringwood, passed away February 16, 2025 at his home in rural Major County, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Faith Center in Meno, Oklahoma with Pastor Cody Anderson officiating. Service arrangements are under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Fairview, Oklahoma.
Mike was born January 28, 1956 in Enid, Oklahoma, to Pauline (Gildemeister) and Fred Bierig, Jr. After graduating from Fairview High School with the class of 1974, Mike spent his life working for his family's farming and ranching operation where he excelled in operating heavy equipment and displayed the ability to master any machine.
Mike cherished time with friends and family, and enjoyed cheering on his grandkids at events ranging from livestock shows to ball games. Mike lived life to the fullest leaving everyone he met with a story. He enjoyed navigating the Cimarron River in his airboat, the sound carrying for miles and his location often unpredictable. He was an avid bargain hunter frequenting pawn shops and antique stores. One of Mike's greatest talents was his willingness to help others regardless of the situation. He will be truly missed.
Mike was preceded in passing by his parents and is survived by three daughters, Tina Regier, Reanna Sullivan and husband Kevin, and Shelby Bierig; one son, Jesse Bierig and wife Stacy; one sister, Karen Newberry and husband Bill; four grandchildren, Brooke Bierig, Luke Bierig, Charlie Sullivan, and Finley Sullivan; extended family, Jeromy Bierig, Jason Robison, Chase Moore, Laci Marchant, Cody Moore, and Charles Nichols.
