Rick is survived by his wife of almost 20 years, Cindy Jo Bierig, daughter KD Keim (Nick), sons John Bierig & Ian Lamberson, grandchildren Guinevere and Mason Keim, mother Barbara Bierig, brothers Dennis (Darla) Bierig, Tommy (Mitzie) Bierig, and sister Dixene (Rick) Howerton, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Richard "Dick" Bierig.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and kindness during this time. They would also like to thank Dr. Nabi and her fabulous staff for the care Rick received over the years, Alera Caring Hospice team, and a very special thank you to Stephanie, Savannah, and Eliah LaFountain, Breyden, Isiah, and Breyah Bearshield for all of the help and devotion to "Uncle Rick".
