Michael Stanley "Mikey" Bondi, 31, of Earlville, IL, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 8, 2025, due to a car accident. He was born October 20, 1993 in Elmhurst, IL. The son of Joseph and Lorraine (Koltunczyk) Bondi. Michael was known for his voice impressions; he was always happy and made everyone laugh and always himself. He was an avid video gamer. Michael was an excellent painter, learning his skills from his dad. He shared a close bond with his sister who was his bestie. Michael adored his family and friends. He enjoyed life to the fullest and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Koltunczyk and father, Joseph Bondi; one sister, Aviola Bondi; grandfather, Michael Bondi; his work family; numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; a multitude of friends and his best friend since childhood, Joel King.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Concetta (Nonna) Bondi, Aviola (Gary) Meyer and Stanley Koltunczyk.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL with a Prayer Service that will be held at 4:00 pm with Pastor Sandy Smith officiating. Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Assumption Cemetery located at 1S510 Winfield Rd., Wheaton, IL. 60189. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
