Michael D. Budzinski

Michael Damian Budzinski, 61, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Born in Trenton, NJ, Michael was a Ewing Township resident for most of his life. He attended Ewing Public Schools, Mercer County Vocational School, and grew into a career electrician. He retired as an Assistant Chief from The State of New Jersey, Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction. Michael was a skilled tradesman in almost every area. He had no trouble reconstructing rooms or being tasked with home projects. Michael never stopped wanting to learn. He enjoyed researching, sharing what he knew, and teaching others. History was his favorite subject and he watched many, many, documentaries. Michael felt strongly for his family, always ensuring his loved ones were taken care of. He had an incredibly close bond with his siblings, his daughter, and his son. He was protective of his daughter and son, always reminding them that he was there to support them. Michael had a soft spot in his heart for animals and especially loved his German Shepherds, Colby, Remington, Ruger, and Echo.
Michael is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Margaret Budzinski; his brother, Joseph Budzinski; and his son, Mitchell H. Budzinski. Michael is survived by his daughter, Alaina Budzinski Johnson and her husband, Ryan Johnson; his sister, Margaret Binkowski (Paul); his brother, John Budzinski (Diane); his brother, Paul Budzinski (Susan); his brother, Matthew Budzinski (Sharon); his nephews and niece, George Wells, Joey Budzinski, Jimmy Budzinski, David Budzinski, Matt Budzinski, Steven Budzinski, and Cindy Budzinski; his ex-spouse and friend, Laura Budzinski; and his loving dog, Echo.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Avenue, Ewing, NJ, 08638. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Incarnation-St. James Church, 1545 Pennington Road, Ewing, NJ, 08618. Burial will then take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton.
