Michael Canter
HUBBARD-Michael Canter, 38, passed away on November 25, 2024, at the Sharron Regional Medical Center following a massive heart attack.
He was born in Conneaut, Ohio on September 2, 1986, the son of Jesse Canter and Rose Manfredonia.
Michael was a skilled and accomplished arborist. He has been climbing and cutting trees since he was teenager. He was the owner of Mike's Tree Service and was very proud and passionate about his profession.
He loved anything that had a motor; if he couldn't fix it then it couldn't be fixed. He loved all animals and everything about nature and the outdoors. Mike lived his life knowing that above all kindness mattered most. He would help anyone in need, even a stranger. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving family: his parents: Jesse Canter, Sr. and Rose (Craig Drda) Bishop; his grandparents: Viola Canter and Robert Manfredonia; his siblings: David Sayre, Jr., Jesse (Ashley) Canter, Jr., and Kaylee (Daniel) Bright; his companion Priscilla Perrin; as well as numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins that he was very close to.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Herb Canter, grandmother Carol Manfredonia, and his aunt Sharon McCloud.
DUE TO THE LARGE AMOUNT OF SNOW ACCUMULATION FUNERAL SERVICES HAVE BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR NEXT SATURDAY DECEMBER 7th at Fleming-Billman Funeral Home, 526 W. Prospect, Ashtabula; calling hours are from 11:00-12:00 with the funeral starting at 12:00; burial will follow in Kellogsville Cemetery.
