Michael Carpenter

Michael Carpenter, age 49, of East Greenwich Twp., NJ passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Born in Camden, NJ he was raised in Gloucester City, attended Gloucester Catholic High School, and graduated from Gloucester High School Class of 1993. He married the love of his life Megan (nee Stever) on October 22, 2010. Mike was an account manager for A&A Security Service in Philadelphia and loved his years as a security manager working concerts at the Camden waterfront. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies & Eagles Fan, enjoyed going to concerts, and listening to country music. Mike loved vacations with his family in North Wildwood, trips to Disney World, and weekly trips to the Amish Market in Mullica Hill. He loved spending time with his children and coached Basketball and T-Ball for his children's teams in East Greenwich Twp.
Mike is survived by his wife, Megan Carpenter (nee Stever); two children, Chloe Elizabeth & Lucas Michael; his mother, Kathleen Carpenter (nee Tarricone); his father, Michael Carpenter; his brother, Drew Carpenter & his wife, Karen and their children, Jared, Joshua, & Emily; his sister, Jillian DePoder & her husband, Carl and their children, Madison, Juliana, & Gabriel; his in-laws, Dave Stever and Meg (nee Weglicki); his sister-in-law, Lauren McDowell & her husband, Jordan and their children, Jordan & Shae; and his brother-in-law, David Stever & his wife, Paola.
Family & Friends may visit from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 28, and from 9:30 am to 10:45 am on Wednesday, May 29 at Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, May 29. Interment will be private. As an expression of sympathy, contributions can be made for Chloe and Lucas Carpenters' future education. Payments can be made to Chloe & Lucas Carpenter and please write Education Fund in the memo section.
