Michael Anthony Cipolla, 62, of Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Milford Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his family. He was born in Everett, MA on December 19, 1961 of Robert A. Cipolla Sr. and Rosemarie Cipolla (neé. Luongo).
Mike held a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Bentley University and a Masters degree in Finance from Bryant University, and eventually became Vice President of Budget, Reporting & Analysis at Ahold before his retirement at the age of 55.
A lover of martial arts, Michael achieved his third-degree black belt in Kenpo Karate, and was a coach of a youth martial arts competition team for many years. He was a proud supporter of Boston sports teams. A founding member of the Blues Brother Golf Tournament, Mike leaves a legacy of "questionable" golfing and great-times with his Blues Brothers, who we hope can find a course that will still let them play a round for him.
Michael is predeceased by his father Robert A. Cipolla Sr., and is survived by his wife Patricia A. Cipolla (neé. Buccella); his mother Rosemarie Cipolla (neé. Luongo); his brother Robert A. Cipolla Jr. and his wife Christie. He leaves his son Michael and his wife Lauren; his son Ryan and his fiancé Andrew; his niece Audrey; and his nephew Robert III and his partner Paola and their daughter Leila as well as several cousins and many close friends.
Viewing hours will be held at Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 20 Peck St., Attleboro, MA on Sunday, August 25 from 2-6 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John's the Evangelist Church, located at 133 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA on Monday, August 26 at 10 am. Friends and family are welcome to join at the Funeral Home to process over to the church starting at 9am. Burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association (APDA) https://www.apdaparkinson.org/1907d3l/ in memory of Mike's name.
