My deepest sympathy to Mikes family. I met Mike when visiting Broughton dairy back in 2019. He immediately struck me as a person who was down to earth not above any other person. He spoke highly of those around him instead of himself. That immediately resonated with me. I remember sharing with him the things I loved to do and he the things he loved to do. He shared how he loved to cook for his family and friends. One of the items I shared with him was my love for chasing Morel Mushrooms. I remember quite a conversation around this with the outcome being that I would set him up with some Michigan Morels. Every year he would ask me where his mushrooms were. I'll miss hearing this.

My deepest condolences to the family of Mike DePue. I first met Mike at the Broughton Foods plant in Marietta, OH. It was immediately evident that Mike was a great leader. The people who worked with Mike appreciated his honesty, work ethic, and passion for the plant and the people who worked there. He genuinely looked out for the well-being of others.
Mike will be deeply missed by all of us at DFA. May God bless Mike Depue and his family.

I wish to offer my condolences to Mike's family and let you know how truly blessed we all were to have him in the dairy industry, leading our employees and teaching people the value and gratification you can get working hard to provide food for families. Mike was my friend and was a valued member of the Dean Foods team and then the DFA team for many years. I met him in 2002 at a meeting and immediately thought this is my kind of no nonsense, down to earth, good to the core human being. Being from Chicago I hated that he liked the Buckeyes and the Steelers, but that was only because they were always better than my Illini and Bears. His will to overcome this terrible disease was an inspiration to us all and we will truly miss him as a leader and as a friend. God bless you Mike Depue.
Your friend and co-worker,
