Michael Francis Dow

Michael Francis Dow, 54, of Phoenix, Maryland, died peacefully in his sleep at home on Monday November 10th, 2025. He was pre-deceased by his parents Francis and Marcia Dow. Michael is survived by his beloved wife Annette (Ziemski) Dow, his children Matthew Patrick, Connor Joseph, and Emeline Rose, and his siblings Matthew Dow (Debbie), Christopher Dow, Marcy Ryan (Thomas), and Jennifer Kilcullen (James). Michael is also survived by his many adoring nieces and nephews.

Born in Jamestown, New York, Mike grew up in Loudonvillle, New York, before attending school at College of the Holy Cross where he majored in history and played varsity lacrosse. Thereafter, he received his law degree from the Francis King Carey School of Law at the University of Maryland, graduating Order of the Coif, before beginning his career as an attorney. He was a partner at Womble Bond Dickinson LLP (US) and was at the firm for over 14 years.

Mike was a loved and a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. Mike will be most remembered by the people that knew him, for his quick wit, generous nature, and trademarked chuckle.

The family will be receiving visitors at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, 1050 York Road, Towson, Maryland, between the hours of 2 and 4pm and 6 and 8pm on Friday, November 14th.

Catholic funeral mass will be held at Church of the Nativity, 20 E Ridgely Road, Timonium, Maryland, at 11am on Saturday, November 15th.
