Michael J. Favreau

Michael J Favreau, 71 of Swanzey NH passed away peacefully at home on December 10, 2025, after a strong battle with cancer. Born on December 10, 1954, in Gardener Massachusetts to the late Roger E and Vivian (Bennett) Favreau.
Michael attended Narragansett high school in Baldwinville Massachusetts. By trade Michael was a Machine technician. He was married to Laurie (Wilkins) Favreau on August 10, 2003, in Vernon VT. Of his past times Michael was a huge Patriots, Red Sox and Celtics fan. He loved spending time with his family, children and grandchildren. Michael was a musician who played in several local bands most notably he was the co-founder of the Rocky Knoll Countrymen band and the founder of the Knightriderz band.
Besides his wife Laurie Favreau, Michael is survived by his sisters Sandra LeBlanc (Melbourne LeBlanc) of Phillipston Mass, Linda Favreau of Phillipston Mass and Linda Chase and her husband Richard Chase of Baldwinville Mass.
His son Chad Favreau (Mandie) of Winchester NH Catelyn Ames (Curtis) of Orange Mass, Kayla Graves (Lucas) of Athol Mass, Zachary Favreau (Stephanie) of Orange Mass and Kimberely Favreau of Athol Mass. His three stepchildren Richard Garland of Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania, Heidi Garland (Mike Cas) of Germantown New York and Deborah Shock (Devon) of Swanzey NH. Michael also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
Michael was predeceased by his parents Roger E Favreau and Vivian (Bennett) Favreau, his sister Donna Favreau and his brother Richard Favreau.
There will be a celebration of life that will be held at a later date.
