Michael Ferrill Obituary
He was born in Darby, PA on December 19, 1959, he is the son of the late Edward and Mary Ellen (Mumbouer) Ferrill. He was raised in southwest Philadelphia.
He was a graduate of John Bartram High School.
He worked for the City of Philadelphia for 30+ years as a maintenance technician. He was a longtime standing member of the DC33 union.
Mike was a cherished member of a large and loving family, devoted to making every day meaningful. His sharp wit and unforgettable one-liners brought joy to all who knew him and will be deeply missed. A lifelong Eagles fan, he treasured Sunday football and any opportunity to spend time with his children and grandchildren. Mike was a hands-on family man-present at every celebration, always caring for those around him. He found happiness in the simple pleasures of life: summer barbecues, vacation adventures, and sharing laughter with close friends and cousins. His warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for family and friends leave a legacy that will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Debbie. He is survived by three children, Linda (Brian Brady) Ferrill, Larry (Lily) Ferrill and Michael (Jennifer) Ferrill; five grandchildren, Daniel, William, Alyssa, Mikayla and Mila; and numerous very close cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend his viewing, Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood from 2 PM to 4 PM, where his funeral service will follow at 4 PM. Burial will be later in Forest Hills Cemetery.
