Michael "Mike" Fitzgerald

Michael "Mike"Fitzgerald of Hanson Ma Born February 11, 1982, formerly of Weymouth Ma passed away suddenly on November 15th at Mass General Hospital after a brief illness.
Devoted and loving son of Kathleen Hurley, cherished brother of Kristy Bennett and her husband Kevin and uncle to Anna and Nathan Bennett who adored him. Mike is also survived by cousins, aunts, an uncle and lifelong friends.
Mike was greeted at the gates of Heaven by his Nana and Papa, Ann and Walter Hurley.
Mike was affectionately known as "Monkey" to those who loved him most. He was an avid collector of comic books and memorabilia and was very proud of his collection. He was a self proclaimed geek and loved to get tattoos representing all of his favorite things. Mike enjoyed WWE wrestling seeing any movie possible and hanging out with his close knit friends, and he may have surprised you if you ever witnessed him on the mic doing some karaoke.
Above all else, he loved spending time with his family, from catching a game to watch Anna and Nathan, catching up on tv shows with Mom or sharing in holiday traditions, Mike was happiest when surrounded by his family.
He will be missed by all who were touched by his kind heart and spirit.
