Michael Rene Garcia was born on September 30, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas went to be with the Lord on July 8th, 2025 at the age of 67 years. He graduated from Highland High school, earlier attending St. Gerard Elementary and St. Gerard High School.
Michael had a stellar career in Information Technology Systems working for Valero Corporation, GTE Directories Corporation, Hewlett Packard, Per Vigil Inc., and Mobius Partners. His worldwide career took him to the countries of Argentina, Belgium and England. Michael was an avid golfer and top notch bowler.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Patricio T. and Valentina M. Garcia Jr.
He is survived by his beloved sisters, Anna Solis (Mike), Patricia Ponce (Mark); brothers, Esteban Garcia (Margaret), Hector Garcia (Connie), Victor Garcia (Barbara), Gerard Garcia (Rosalinda); nieces and nephews, Patric, David, Jeremy, Erica, Tracie, Kimberly, Mario, Sarah and Robert, Monica, Kaleb, Dominic and Abigail.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made to the charity of your choice or to St. Jude's Catholic Church, 130 S. San Augustine Ave., San Antonio, Texas 78237.
